Antique Straits Chinese Pewter Wine Pot from Penang, Malaysia

Description

This is a lovely miniature antique Pewter Wine Pot from Penang, Malaysia. This local piece was purchased by my American expatriate father in the early 1970's in Penang when he owned an Antique Shop.  Appears to have been made for the Straits Chinese Community.  Please note the Chinese Chop on bottom of the Pot (Picture No. 11 & 12).  The Pot has also not been polished so the original patina remains.
Wine Pot Dimensions: 2 ½ inches wide at the base and 6 ¼ inches high.  Width of Spout to Handle 6 ¼ inches.   Weight: 1.32 pounds
