Antique / Vintage Standing Philippine Santos Figure

A charming example of an antique / vintage Philippine standing Santos figure.  The Santos is clearly an original & genuine – a lovely rustic piece.
My father purchased this particular Santos in the early 1970's during one of his regional buying trips to Manila when he owned an antique shop in Penang Malaysia.
He had a particular affinity for Santos Figures and many times had difficulty locating nice examples to purchase  - otherwise he would have purchased many more.

The Santos was carved with a Base that is approximately 80% intact.  The remaining portion of the base is gone but the piece stands easily without any support.  Also the arm pegs are no longer attached similar to other Santos figures of that age & condition.
Santos Dimensions: 11 ¾ inches high & 3 ¾ inches wide at the base below the Saint's feet.  The base on the ground is 3 inches wide.  Weight: 11.1 ounces
