of the Buddha’s foot. Beautiful motifs.
It is made from layers of lacquer, each etched to review the colors in the panel.
Primary color is red, but layers reveal green, black, and gold.
The intricacy is remarkable. It is in excellent condition for its age. Minor cracks and scuffs.
The luster of the lacquer is good.
Made in Burma (now Myanmar.)
