    Description

Original document "Marriage announcement" filled out by a German named Johann Wolf who certified with this questionnaire that his wife was not Jewish, but aryan.
According to the Nuremberg Laws of 1935, every German had to fill out such a questionnaire.
He confirmed that he had married Maria Handlos, Catholic, born August 22, 1911, on October 21, 1940.
Johann Wolf wrote down all the names and data of his wife family member, back to the year 1844. His father-in-law was a prisoner in Siberia after the first world war.
The document was checked by his employer, the post office in Kaplitz and stamped 9 december 1940.
On the back, Johann Wolf again confirms the following:
"I certify that I have given the above information to the best of my knowledge and belief. Despite careful examination, I am not aware of any circumstances that could justify the assumption that my wife is descended from Jewish parents or grandparents".
