    Condition
:   Bottle is in NICE CLEAN condition.  It is a pretty early - pretty crude bottle with lots of imperfections in the glass but that's what they are, manufacturing imperfections, not condition issues.  The milk glass has lots of swirls of light glass - darker glass, interweaving each other.   It has a tiny flake on base edge (common occurrence when snap-case molds were opened) otherwise there are NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  This is not a 1900 tooled top bottle but an earlier 1880's bottle with an applied top, a fascinating bottle to look at it is so crude.

insurance.   We do NOT insure International orders unless buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance estimate.  If an international shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what YOU pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the ACTUAL shipping costs! This is important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are estimates.  We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and your prompt payment will hasten the turn-around time.
    This is a
    SUPER NICE LOOKING COLORED
bottle in the opal or opaque purple milk glass colored.  This is the result of a milk glass bottle being transformed by heavy ultra rays, from a pure white color to a white with a rich grayish purple tone to the glass.  It looks like an opal or opaque colored bottle as the result, the pictures don't quite capture the purple / opal color as the color is just too rich and unique and blew the camera's mind.   Some of these Magnolia Balm bottles are early bottles, dating back to the latter 1800's, and this one in particular was found in an old west mining camp.  That makes sense, back then living in a high altitude western mining camp exposed one to the harshest of climates and conditions so a bottle of complexion cream in that environment would of been a super valuable commodity.  A super nice bottle to see,
